I was actually outside experimenting further with the NEX-5 when all the clouds seemed to vanish. This was my single 30 sec exposure with the Canon and it won my shot of the day by far!
For some reason, the upload here has subdued a lot of the stars so I highly recommend a quick peek at the Flickr version, also embedded below! What a difference!
